International Bajram Water Polo Tournament Started

VKT_Bajramski Turnir 2013_01The first international Bajram water polo tournament began last night in the capital city of B&H, Sarajevo. It will last for three days.

The four teams that are participating are: S.C. Galatasaray from Istanbul, VK Banja Luka from Banja Luka, and two water polo clubs from Sarajevo VK Torpedo and VK Dabar.

Two days ago, the Turkish team Galatsaray departed for Sarajevo.

The Attaché for Culture and Tourism of the Turkish Embassy to B&H Cengiz Aydin opened the tournament.

The trainer of Turkish Galatsaray Bati Ayaslioglu said that they are delighted with B&H, and that the hosts, VK Torpedo, showed great hospitality.

According to him, they experienced B&H like their own country.

After the opening of the competition, the first match between VK Banja Luka and S.C. Galatsaray began.

VK Banja Luka won with a score of 15:6. VK Torpedo and VK Dabar played the second match, and VK Torpedo won with a score of 18:6.
