International Festival of Wine and Food ‘Sarajevo Vinofest 2013’ has opened

In organisation of Max Style, 6th International Festival of Wine and Food ‘Sarajevo Vinofest 2013’ has opened in hotel Holiday in Sarajevo, reports FENA.

More than 50 exhibitors from BiH and countries of the region- Slovenia,  Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro.

The aim of the festival is the promotion of wine industry and wine culture, tourism and also to expand food offer in BIH and to change the image of BIH, in promotion and development of fair and festival tourism.

Organisers said that their mission is to raise the culture of drinking of wine and enjoying food to a higher level, and in order to do so, they’ve organised special wine and food workshops.

Sixth International Festival of Wine and Food- Sarajevo vinofest 2013 was opened by assistant mayor of Sarajevo Sahrudin Sarajčić, and the sponsor of this year’s festival are FBiH Ministry of Tourism, Environment, Culture and Sports, city of Sarajevo, Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton and BiH Chamber of Foreign Commercer.

So far, five international festivals have been organised, and a great number of exhibitors from BiH, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Hungary, France and Italy participated with more than 1 500 visitors each year. Also, three international festivals of wine and cuisine – Vinosar were organised and they also attracted a great number of visitors.
