International Military Exercise REGEX 16 to start today in Banja Luka

regexInternational military exercise REGEX 16, whose hosts and organizers are the Ministry of Defense of BiH and Armed Forces of BiH, will be held from the 24th to 27th of October, as announced from the Ministry of Defense.

The exercise, which will be realized in the barracks of AF BiH “Kozara” and military training ground “Manjaca” in Banja Luka, represents training and improving the operational capabilities of commands and units of the host country and the partner countries in planning and execution of peace support operations in real-time and multi-national environment.

Within the exercise REGEX 16 will participate member states of the various programs of partnership cooperation with NATO (more than ten countries), as well as EUFOR, and a significant role in the process of planning had NATO command – JFC (Joint Force Command) from Naples by hiring their experts, as well as representatives from the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo.
