Women’s Entrepreneurship Day – WED under the motto “Day of inspiration for future women entrepreneurs” will be marked tomorrow for the first time in B&H.
The women’s entrepreneurship association from B&H “ONE” is organizing a conference in Sarajevo on November 19th with dozens of women across B&H participating and presenting their initiatives for strengthening women’s position in the society, economy, politics and other segments.
“On that day, we will not just celebrate the success of the women entrepreneurs in B&H but also start a new story. We believe that men and women in the politics deserve the same status and we therefor invite them to ensure their role in the interactive communication” – was stated in the communication by the Association “ONE”.
The members of the “ONE” added that women are more than capable of interconnecting and that they can serve each other as positive examples.
The stories of successful women show that the future of B&H is greatly in women’s hands too.
This International Day will also be marked in New York, USA tomorrow.
The main ceremony of the WED will be held in partnership with the U.S. State Department and 153 countries as well as with embassies around the world.
