SIFEC Conference to Begin in Sarajevo on Thursday

SIFECThe European Association for Islamic economics, banking and finances in cooperation with partners organizes the international conference Sarajevo Islamic Finance and Economics Conference 2014 entitled “New challenges for Islamic economics and finance development” to be held on November 20 and 21 2014 in Sarajevo, at the premises of the Gazi Husrev Bey’s library.

SIFEC is the only conference in the field of Islamic economics and banking in this part of Europe and will gather numerous local and international experts in the field. The discussions will be focused on the topics of contemporary Islamic economics, banking and finances, especially on “sukuk” – Islamic debentures. Islamic finances represent one of the fastest growing segments of global financing.
