The Una River, a symbol of natural beauty and strength of community, gathered this year from the youngest to the most experienced lovers of water adventures.
The start of the regatta, in which there were 90 boats, was marked at 12 o’clock from Salihovac, after which the participants took a break in the picturesque Una canyon, enjoying the shade, swimming and socializing.
The regatta continued towards Bosanska Krupa, where it arrived at Velika Ada around 5 pm. There, a common dinner was prepared for all participants.
“The Una River has once again shown its power to bring people together, unite generations and create memories that will be remembered for a long time,” the organizers pointed out.
The event was organized by the City of Bosanska Krupa and the Cultural and Sports Center, with the support of sponsors.
“Every year the regatta grows – in terms of the number of participants, the energy it brings and the importance it has for our city. This is an event that promotes natural beauty, but also togetherness and tourism in Bosanska Krupa,” said the organizers.
Throughout the day, smiles could be seen on the Una River, laughter could be heard and the true spirit of summer could be felt. It is precisely this combination of nature, people and the river that makes the Bosanska Krupa regatta a special and beloved event, which attracts more and more visitors every year.
“This is more than a sports or tourist event, this is a celebration of the Una and all of us who love it,” said one of the participants.
