The value of the investment of EP BiH – purchase of new complex is 19.5 million BAM, and has been realized in the framework of the recapitalization of the mines in the concern of EPBIH.

Grabovica said that it is the most modern equipment by renowned Polish manufacturer of mining equipment Kopex. According to him, 28 million out of planned 32.460.000 BAM has been invested in RMU “Breza“ within process of recapitalization, which is part of total investment in other mines where more than 150 million BAM has been invested in this equipment which will contribute to better productivity and efficiency of business and, most importantly, safety at work and reducing number of injuries, and make miners’ work more humane.

”I hope that accidents like the one that recently happened in Raspotočje will not happen again and that new equipment will contribute to that”, said Grabovica.

He added that talks about second stage of investments in mines started, after 204 million BAM is realized, as planned.

Director of RMU “Breza” Suad Ćosić said that this way 1.300 miners got a new challenge and an opportunity to send new tons to Elektroprivreda BiH.

”New modern equipment will protect our miners from injuries and enable greater production”, said Ćosić, adding that way assumptions are created for them to be leaders in the region when it comes to underground exploitation of coal.
