retail parkThe first Retail Park in Bosnia and Herzegovina was opened yesterday in Derventa. The park provides job for around 100 people and the investment is worth 10 million BAM, which is the largest individual investment in the past 20 years.

Retail Park differs from regular shopping malls in terms of individuality of every store regarding access and working hours. According to investors, such type of construction will lower the price of lease and have an impact on prices in stores, which will be lower.

“The Retail Park covers 5.600 square meters. We currently have eight large tenants and several small stores. This is an important investment for the municipality and for the RS, it is very significant,” said the Director of Elektron Group and investor, Miladin Preradović.

Favorable business environment and interest of people are the reasons why this center is opened precisely in Derventa. Mayor of the Derventa Municipality Milorad Simić said that this is the largest investment after the war.

“A parameter of development of one local community are eminent firms, opening of plants, and employment,” Simić said.

Due to great interest, the investors announced the opening of another building next year.
