The delegation of the Tuzla Canton, led by the Prime Minister of TC Bego Gutic, is currently in the UAE at the invitation of representatives of several investment groups.

During a meeting with the chairman of the Al Habtoor Governing Board Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor and his son Mohammed Al Habtoor, the deputy chairman of the Board and Chief Executive of the Group, Gutic presented the Tuzla Canton, its comparative advantages in the region, and potentials that could be interesting for the investment group.

Considering that Al Habtoor Group is one of the most successful and most respected business groups in the Emirates, with a portfolio worth several hundred billion dollars, and its strategic commitments, Gutic presented potential Tuzla Canton in the electric power field, metal industry, agriculture and food production, and medical tourism.

He also invited them to visit the Tuzla Canton, so they themselves could be convinced of the value and potential of the present projects first-hand.

The Tuzla Canton delegation, in which the director of the Tuzla International Airport Rifat Karasalihovic and lawyer Enver Hogic are partaking, also met with Fly Dubai Airways CEO Ghaith Al Ghaithom to discuss the potentials of the Tuzla Airport, especially from the aspect of cargo transportation and food exports to UAE area.

Among other things there was a discussion about the opening of a line that would connect Tuzla to destinations in the Middle East, as well as the eventual opening of a joint company, which would mean a stronger investment in the area of Tuzla Canton, according to the Information Department of the Government of Tuzla Canton.
