The handover of a donation from the International Organization for Migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina (IOM) took place today at the premises of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The donation was handed over to director Mirsad Vilić by the head of the IOM mission in BiH, Laura Lungarotti.

Director Vilić expressed his gratitude to the IOM in BiH, which continuously provides support to the development of the Directorate.

He emphasized that the above-mentioned donated equipment is important for the quality performance of daily work and tasks of the Directorate’s police officers in the field.

The head of the IOM mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Laura Lungarotti, pointed out that today’s donation is a continuation of the extremely successful cooperation that the IOM achieves with the Directorate.

She especially thanked the members of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, who provide assistance to the temporary reception migration centers in BiH (Lipa and Borići centers in Bihać and Blažuj and Ušivak centers in Sarajevo). She also stated that this type of cooperation will be continued, stated the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
