Iran’s national airline Iran Air has announced that it has canceled flights to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, until further notice, reports Anadolu.
“All our company’s flights to Beirut have been canceled until further notice,” Iran Air spokesman Hossam Qurbanali said, according to Iranian state television.
This announcement followed a series of airstrikes carried out by the Israeli army against Hezbollah positions in Lebanon.
Israel has been intensively attacking Lebanon since September 23. Almost 800 people were killed and almost 2,300 wounded, according to data published by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
