Israel issues Evacuation Orders for Civilians in Central Gaza ahead of Attack

The Israeli military ordered residents of the Magazi refugee camp in central Gaza to immediately evacuate their homes ahead of an attack in the area.

Army spokesman Avichay Adraee said residents must head to what he called a “humanitarian zone” in central Gaza, saying the rockets were fired from that area.

The military said early Wednesday that four rockets were fired from central Gaza toward Israeli settlements near the Gaza border, setting off air raid sirens.

The Israeli military has repeatedly issued evacuation orders for Palestinian civilians in several areas across Gaza.

Israel has waged a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip that has killed more than 44,800 people, mostly women and children, since a Hamas offensive on Oct. 7 last year.

Last month, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over the Gaza war, AA writes.
