Israel Military attacked Dozens of Hezbollah Positions

The Israeli military announced Thursday that it attacked dozens of Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.

An army statement said warplanes hit rocket launchers, military buildings and infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in Wadi Saluki, Labbouneh and Taybeh in southern Lebanon.

There is still no information on casualties.

Hezbollah, on the other hand, said that its fighters “targeted spy installations” in the Israeli-occupied Shebaa farms with appropriate weapons.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that three anti-tank missiles hit Shtula in the Upper Galilee near the Lebanese border.

On Thursday morning, Lebanon’s government said it would file a complaint against Israel with the United Nations Security Council over Wednesday’s Israeli drone strike that killed at least seven people in the country’s south.

Tensions are high along the border between Lebanon and Israel with occasional exchanges of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah, in the deadliest clashes since the two sides went to war in 2006.

The rise in tensions occurred after the start of the military offensive for genocide accused by Israel on the Gaza Strip, in which 28,663 Palestinians were killed and 68,395 were injured as of October 7.
