Israeli Authorities issued an urgent Warning to Palestinians

Israel on Saturday repeated calls for Palestinians in Gaza to “temporarily” head south for their safety, AA reports.

“This is an urgent warning to temporarily head south for your safety,” Israeli army spokesman Avishai Adrae told residents of the northern Gaza Strip, especially Gaza City.

The Israeli army on Friday expanded its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under airstrikes since October 7.

International aid agencies said they had lost contact with staff in Gaza after Israel completely cut off landline, mobile phone and internet communications services in the blockaded Gaza Strip.

The number of Palestinian casualties in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip that have been ongoing since October 7 has risen to 7,703, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Saturday.

Among the dead were 3,595 children.

Some 2.3 million Gazans are struggling with food, water and medicine shortages due to massive Israeli aerial bombardment and a complete blockade of the enclave.

The General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) last night adopted a resolution calling for an urgent humanitarian ceasefire.
