Antalyaspor’s Israeli footballer Sagiv Jehezkel was deported from Turkey after he supported Israel’s attacks on Palestine by celebrating a goal in a match against Trabzonspor, and received a hero’s welcome in his homeland.
Antalyaspor drew 1:1 with Trabzonspor in the 20th round of the Super League, and the center of attention was the Israeli footballer Sagiv Jehezkel, who celebrated the goal in a scandalous way.
Referring to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Jezekhel wrote signs on his bandage symbolizing the date Israel’s attack began, October 7, the 100th day, and the Israeli flag, and pointed them toward the camera.
Antalyaspor immediately issued a press statment after the scandal by announcing that Jehezkel was kicked out of the team, and after public pressure, he was terminated from his contract, arrested and deported to Israel.
And while in Turkey he was labeled as a culprit, in Israel he was welcomed as a real hero, which was also recorded by the cameras.
He will be free until the trial, and in his address to the media he said that he did not want to provoke anyone, and that with this gesture he wanted to show that he was in favor of ending the war, Klix.ba writes.
