The Administration for Indirect Taxation of BiH (UIOBiH) has completed the destruction procedure for a total of 2,783 vehicles, and currently 279 motor vehicles meet the requirements for such a procedure, in accordance with the provisions of the Instructions on the Destruction and Assignment of Customs Goods, and a public announcement has been made for the selection of bidders for their destruction, it was said in that administration.

The deadline for submission of bids is March 19, as regulated in the public advertisement itself, and the destruction and purchase of useful vehicle waste is carried out by commission delivery of vehicles to authorized legal entities to perform the service of their destruction and disposal in accordance with current regulations.

“The ITA’s handling of seized goods, including vehicles, is determined depending on the final court decisions, but also on the fulfillment of the conditions for release into free circulation on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. When it comes to vehicles that do not meet the legal requirements for further traffic on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the procedure for their destruction is initiated in accordance with the provisions of the Instructions on the destruction and transfer of customs goods,” according to the ITA.

According to the advertisement, the offer with the highest price per kilogram of useful waste and remains of destruction will be considered the most favorable offer.

The ITA says that seized goods due to violations of criminal and misdemeanor legislation from the prescribed jurisdiction are placed in central and auxiliary warehouses of seized goods at the regional centers of Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Mostar and Tuzla, at which locations the destruction is ultimately carried out.
