Former manager of Manchester United and Inter, the Italian expert Roberto Mancini, believes that the captain of the BiH national football team Edin Džeko will have a great season in Roma.
Džeko came to AS Roma last summer from Manchester City, but he scored only eight goals in the first season. This season he already scored four goals and recorded one assist in six performances, and the man who brought him to Manchester City from Wolfsburg believes that Džeko will prove his quality.
“I brought Džeko from City to Wolfsburg, he is an excellent striker for me. No one finds it easy to play in Italy and that is why it took him a year to get used to playing there, but I am convinced that he can score many goals this season because he is truly a great player,” Mancini said.
