Director of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) Margherita Lo Greco visited FIPA to get some information about the current situation regarding the inflow of Italian investments in BiH, the current cooperation between FIPA and Italian investors, and the current implementation of projects and realized contacts with potential investors.

Director of FIPA Gordan Milinic noted that Italy is in the 8th position with a total of 556 million BAM invested in different sectors of the economy of BiH, and that the cooperation on establishing contacts with potential investors from Italy was intensified during 2016 and 2017, as evidenced by the Outreach Campaign from May 2017, and a visit to the Macfrut fair that was held in 2016 and 2017, when significant contacts with Italian businessmen were achieved.

FIPA has been successfully cooperating with the ICE Office in Sarajevo on the promotion of investment opportunities in BiH for many years, and it is an active participant in economic events that are organized by ICE with the aim to connect business people and establishment of contacts.

An economic event in Milan is planned at the end of November, where BiH should present itself with its potentials.
