lovrenovi__ivan_342303S1Tuzla – the novel “Lost in the century” by Ivan Lovrenović won the “Meša Selimović” prize for the best novel published in 2013 in the region (B&H, Montenegro, Croatia) at the 14th International Literary Event Cum Grano Salis held last night in the International Gallery of portraits “Ismet Mujezinović” in Tuzla.

“I am not of those who always won prizes. There were some prizes, but not big ones or very valuable ones. So I consider this prize in Tuzla as my first one.” – said Lovrenović who reminded all those who attended the event in his speech of his ill friend and writer Irfan Horozović who won the same prize 11 years ago.

“Lost in the century” is a book which needs to be taken seriously because there are not so many books talking so clearly about the burdens that we carry through life on a daily basis.
