Mayor of Sarajevo, Ivo Komsic, visited the national sitting volleyball team of B&H, on their training in Medjugorje on Thursday.
On this occasion, mayor Komsic emphasized that the city of Sarajevo and himself, have supported our team with the most trophies through all these years.
“We were always supporting them, before and after the European and world competitions. Once again, our support is not missing,” said Komsic.
Head coach of the national sitting volleyball team of B&H, Mirza Hrustemović and the captain of the team, Sabahudin Delalic, confirmed that the City of Sarajevo always stood by their side, and that they appreciate the support of this institution, which has always been certain and principled.
“Support of the city of Sarajevo was never missing, even when the city was in a complex financial situation,” said Hrustemović.
During his visit, the mayor attended the training, and at the invitation of representatives, he even tried to play sitting volleyball with the assistance of captain Delalic. Later, he watched the entire friendly match with the national team of Ukraine, which was also on preparations in Medjugorje. Our national team won with the score 3: 0.
Representatives of the national sitting volleyball team of B&H are preparing to defend the title of European Champions at the upcoming European Championship, which will be held in the Warendorf (Germany), from the 30th of September to the 8th of October 2015.
