Last night in the crystal room in Municipality Bugojno the event ‘Bugojno Choice for Athlete 2012’ was held.
The title of the most successful in the senior competition was given to Ivona Baškarad (table tennis club Bugojno) and Erdin Tihak (Karate Club Bugojno).
The best results for 2012 for senior teams were given to members of STK Bugojno and, in the men’s competition, Karate Club Bugojno.
The most promising young athletes were named Ilhan Tupo (STK Bugojno) and Adi Čefo (Taekvondo Club Bugojno), the most successful cadets were Alma Teskeredžić (Female Handball Club Bugojno) and Eldar Tihak (Karate Club Bugojno), and the best juniors Edina Haračić (STK Bugojno) and Dženan Haračić (NK Istra Bugojno).
The most successful female junior team was STK Bugojno.
The trainer of the year was Ibrahim Manjušak (SKO Iskra) and veteran athlete Nermin Palić of the same club.
Special recognition was given to older athletes, and an award was given to the former footballer for NK Iskra Ljupko Papić, while the gold plaque was given to coach of the cadet team NK Iskra Nijaz Jusufspahić.
The most successful sports worker in 2012 was Abduselam Kico (KSO Iskra) and the sports journalist Azam Mandžić.
Special recognition for contribution to the development of sport in Bugojno was given to: Aziz Dlakić (KSO Iskra), Nedžad Kulaš, JP RTV Bugojno and JU KSC Bugojno.
