Izetbegović Spoke With Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan

alijevThe President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegovic conducted a telephone conversation with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The friendly conversation was dedicated to continue the bilateral relations between two countries.

 

In the conversation, the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Azerbaijan were rated as of a very high quality and the special attention was dedicated to the possibilities of improvement of economic cooperation.

 

In addition, the Chairman Izetbegovic thanked the President Aliyev for the prompt humanitarian aid sent to Bosnia-Herzegovina during the catastrophic floods. Also, he emphasized that the plane which was sent by Azerbaijan government was a proof of a great friendship between two countries.

 

Among other things Chairman Izetbegovic thanked for the recent investment by Azerbaijan in Bosnia-Herzegovinian agricultural and food sector. He added that the construction of a factory for processing of fruits and vegetables, which was opened in Doboj, is the best indicator of how two countries can cooperate for mutual benefit.

 

According to the Department of Public Relations of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chairman Izetbegovic called on President Aliyev to officially visit Bosnia and Herzegovina soon.
