Jelena Karagic from Banja Luka is the new Miss Earth BiH

In the full Crystal Hall of Hotel Bosna in Banja Luka, the Final Night of the pageant Miss Earth of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for 2017 was held. An expert panel decided that 23-year old dentistry student Jelena Karagic from Banja Luka was most deserving of the title Miss Earth BiH.

This year, 16 participants took part in the most prestigious beauty pageant. The audience participated in three reviews of the finalists.

The first review was of a casual attire, the second and most attractive was the one in bikinis by the famous brand Palmers, while the third was in gowns, designed by one of the most famous BiH designers, Svjetlana Vukovic from Tuzla.

An expert panel decided that 23-year old dentistry student Jelena Karagic from Banja Luka was most deserving of the title Miss Earth BiH and that she will represent BiH in the Miss Earth competition in Manila, the Philippines between October 5th and November 4th.

The first runner-up was Bojana Papak, also from Banja Luka, the second runner-up was Naida Hubic from Sarajevo, and the third runner-up was Arijalda Pjevic from Tuzla.

The management also awarded ribbons for Miss Diaspora and Miss Earth Top Model, which was awarded to Zerina Vesnic from Gorazda and Magdalena Luburi from East Sarajevo, respectively.
