Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh stated that his country would consider any attempt at the mass expulsion of Palestinians to Jordanian territory as a declaration of war. This statement comes amid rising tensions in the region and fears of a possible escalation of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian territories.

Al-Khasawneh emphasized that Jordan will not accept any attempts to alter the region’s demographic structure or forcibly relocate Palestinians. He added that such moves would constitute a violation of international law and a direct threat to Jordan’s sovereignty.

This statement follows reports of possible Israeli plans for the mass expulsion of Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The international community is calling for de-escalation and a peaceful resolution to the current situation.

Jordan, which shares a long border with Israel and the West Bank, is home to a large number of Palestinian refugees. The country has repeatedly expressed concern over Israeli policies toward Palestinians and the potential consequences for regional stability.

International observers warn that any attempt at mass expulsion could lead to a humanitarian crisis and further destabilize the Middle East. They urge all parties to exercise restraint and adhere to international norms to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
