Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency in BiH Blaženka Mišković hosted the Prince of Jordan Mohammed Abbas Bin Ali, who was accompanies by several advisors and two businessmen from Libya.
As the representative of the U.S. company Eco-Gen Energy, Prince Bin Ali showed interest in opportunities for investing in solar energy in BiH. He presented the system of production of solar energy with hybrid generators with the use of lithium-ion batteries, which contribute to the significant energy efficiency and reduction of electrical energy costs. He also expressed interest in the market of electrical energy, the principle of export, and the prices of electrical energy.
Representatives of the Alrabeea Group, which deals with production of sponges and mattresses, cotton and children diapers, expressed interest in investing in wood industry in BiH, or more precisely in production of furniture.
Representatives of FIPA presented the requested information for electrical energy sector, emphasizing the readiness of FIPA to assist in establishing contacts with relevant institutions for energy sector in BiH and in providing every other form of support in investment implementation.
They also presented the currently available projects in the wood industry sector and information relevant to privatization in this year.
