B&H representative in Judo, Aleksandra Samardžić, is the winner of European cup, held last weekend in the Russian Orenburg.
With this outstanding performance Samardžić won new points that have contributed her to strengthen on the first position of the European rank-list for seniors in the category up to 70 kg. She is also the youngest competitor which ranks first on the list.
More than 250 competitors from 17 countries performed on the European Cup.
Selector Branislav Crnogorac is also pleased with the latest result achieved by our national representative, and he reminds us on her excellent results from the past year – three European medals U18, U21 and U23, and silver Olympic medals (YOG 2014).
Also, he thinks that Aleksandra started this competition season very successfully and that even better results are expected by the end of the year.
‘’Based on the results that this 17-year-old Bosnian representative achieved in the previous period, we can say that she is one of the most successful athlete ever in B&H,’’ as announced from the Judo association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
