The completion of the construction of a residential building within the project for the closure of collective centers and alternative accommodation – CEB two – was officially announced in Drvar today, and 31 families were handed the keys to new apartments.

The Mayor of Drvar, Dušica Runić, stated that with the completion of this project, the housing issue of 31 families has been permanently resolved and thanked everyone who participated in its implementation.

“This project shows that through joint work and coordination of different levels of government, we can achieve concrete results for the benefit of citizens,” emphasized Runić.

The Prime Minister of the Livno Canton, Ivan Vukadin, emphasized that this project is an example of how the lives of returnee families and displaced persons can be concretely improved.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees of the Federation of BiH, Esad Ivojević, emphasized that CEB two is an example of successful cooperation aimed at providing a permanent housing solution for socially vulnerable citizens.

The project coordinator from the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, Edina Imamović, expressed her satisfaction with the successful completion of the project.

“So far, 45 such projects have been implemented in the Federation of BiH with the aim of closing more than 100 collective centers and alternative accommodations,” said Imamović.

After many years of living in temporary and alternative accommodations, displaced persons, young couples and returnees received new apartments today.

The beneficiaries thanked all institutions that contributed to the implementation of this important project, emphasizing that the new homes bring them security and a new beginning, Srna news agency writes.
