KfW Approved 65 Million Euro Loan for Elektroprivreda B&H to Build Wind Park “Podveležje”

vjetroparkThe German Development Bank (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau – KfW ) approved to Elektroprivreda B&H a loan for building the Wind Park “Podveležje”, in the amount of 65 million Euros within the development cooperation between Germany and B&H. The deadline for paying the loan is 15 years.

The total expenses for building of the wind farm “Podveležje” are 71.80 million Euros, announced the Office for Communication of Elektroprivreda B&H.

Elektroprivreda B&H will add 6.8 million Euros from its own funds to build the wind farm.

The loan was signed by KfW and B&H, represented by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury from the FB&H, Ministry of Finance of FB&H and Elektroprivreda B&H as the user of the loan.

The Wind Farm “Podveležje” has been recognized as one of the projects that provides support to the preservation of the environment and energy efficiency and it is among the strategic objectives of Elektroprivreda B&H.
