“Klas“ began with this Year’s Purchase of Wheat

easyfood-delegation-met-with-the-new-management-of-klas_1414492002BH Food industry Klas d.d. Sarajevo will seek to purchase as much domestic qualitative wheat as possible, and invited agricultural producers from the entire B&H to announce their amounts in order to be evidenced in the database.

Director of Klas, Rusmir Hrvic, said that they announced in the fall last year that they are ready to try to meet  their needs for a qualitative grains, fruits and vegetables with the domestic producers first and invited associations of farmers, cooperatives, individual producers and farms to contact them.

“Our annual demand for a wheat is 90.000 tons, and our storage capacities are 110.000 tons. On that way, we want to contribute to a decrease of a dependence on the import of primary agricultural products, primarily wheat“, added Hrvic.

Money payments for purchased amounts of wheat will be carried out immediately after the delivery, and Klas will allocate around 40 million BAM this year for meeting needs for grains, fruits and vegetables, as announced from that company.
