Komsic: Another well-designed Attempt to change the Character of the War

Due to the indictments brought against Ahmed Sejdic, Ferid Buljubasic, and other 11 persons, members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH), member of the Presidency of BiH and president of the DF Zeljko Komsic spoke out.

“It is obvious that this is another well-designed attempt to change the character of the war in BiH through the production of statistical elements, through which it is attempted to equate victims with war criminals to the greatest extent possible,” Komsic believes.

He believes that in this particular case, in which the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed three new indictments against the heroes of the defense of BiH, it is clear that they want to ensure the longest possible court proceedings.

“In this particular case, it is clear that the indictment against 13 persons is intended to ensure the longest possible court proceedings, which in that long period of time would be used as a political tool suitable for those political actors who make significant efforts to deny genocide and war crimes in BiH,” Komsic explained.

In his opinion, the fact that they want to artificially portray a different character of the war in BiH is particularly worrying.

“What is particularly worrying is the placing of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and Milanko Kajganic, the Chief Prosecutor, in the political function of both those in BiH and those outside it, in order to artificially try to portray a different character of the war in BiH,” Komsic points out and adds:

“In order for Chief Prosecutor Kajganic to protect the integrity and impartiality of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, it would be very useful for him to answer the questions of why indictments were not brought against the direct perpetrators of the genocide in Srebrenica because the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH must prosecute all direct perpetrators, participants in mass liquidations, expulsion of the local population and the organization of primary, secondary, and tertiary mass graves in order to cover up the committed war crime of genocide,” he stated.

Furthermore, Komsic adds that it would be good if Kajganic starts bringing charges against the people who shelled the citizens of Sarajevo.

“Also, it would be very good if Chief Prosecutor Kajganic, in order to protect his own integrity and impartiality, starts bringing charges against those persons who shelled the citizens of Sarajevo who were standing in line for water or in the line for bread, children on playgrounds,” adds the current Chairman of the BiH Presidency.

If Kajganic does not start doing his job, as Komsic says, he will bear the burden of protecting the perpetrators of horrible crimes.

“Regardless of the fact that prosecutor Kajganic is the preference of the only part of the international community, he should finally start doing his prosecutorial work, otherwise he will bear the burden of protecting the perpetrators of horrible crimes, through the manipulative raising of unsustainable indictments, and turn a part of the international community into his accomplice,” Komsic concluded, Klix.ba reports.
