Komsic commented Sanctions by the United Kingdom to RS Authorities

Sanctions of the United Kingdom to the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik and President of the Republika Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic for attempts to illegally and unconstitutionally seize state competencies are a clear message that says what the British authorities think about anti-state activities of politicians from Republika Srpska.

Komsic emphasized that this was also a clear message to the High Representative of the International Community in BiH, Christian Schmidit, not to hesitate at all and to immediately put an end to the anti-constitutional laws that undermine the state.

Due to the undermining of the Dayton Peace Agreement, undermining the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, denial of genocide and glorification of war criminals, the officials of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) are banned from traveling to Great Britain and their property and business with British citizens are frozen.

The British government, working in coordination with the United States, expressed hope that today’s sanctions would encourage other countries to apply similar restrictive measures that hold politicians accountable for their destabilizing and dangerous behavior.
