The signing of the contract for the execution of works on 66 housing units for returnee families in 13 municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held today at the seat of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo.
The agreements will be signed by the Federal Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramic, the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH Milos Lucic, the Director of the BiH Return Fund Bojan Ninkovic, mayors and selected contractors.
As part of the Saudi Development Fund project implemented by the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees in the Federation of BiH, the construction of 66 housing units for returnee families in 13 municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina will soon begin.
More than 2.6 million BAM with VAT will be allocated for this purpose. Works on the construction of housing units will be carried out in the municipalities of Bosanski Petrovac, Glamoč, Kladanj, Ključ, Olovo, Prozor – Rama, Teočak, Vareš, Lopare, Mrkonjić-Grad, Ugljevik, Vlasenica and Prnjavor.
The Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees confirmed that the contracts with the contractors will be signed at the beginning of the week at the seat of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
So far, the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees has completed the construction and handed over the facilities for use to 319 families through the Saudi Development Fund project. Of that number, 171 housing units were built in 28 municipalities and cities in the Federation of BiH, while 148 housing units in 24 municipalities and cities were built in the Republika Srpska.
With the completion of the project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 901 housing units with a total value of over 25 million BAM will be built.
