Komsic: Compared to the last election, DF recorded a Growth of some 30 Percent

The President of the Democratic Front, Željko Komšić, in a short address at the press conference, said that his party recorded a growth of some 30 percent compared to the last local elections.

“This is also evident in Sarajevo and some other municipalities and cities. There will be room for analysis after all the results are processed,” said Komšić.

In reviewing the general results of the election, the president of the DF emphasized that “SDA has made a leap, primarily to the detriment of the positions previously held by the candidates of the Troika, but that this is not noticeable in Sarajevo, as it is in other areas”.

“Certainly everything that happened in these elections and the results themselves will be an opportunity to learn some lessons for the future, especially in the preparations for the general elections,” said Komšić.

He congratulated the new-old mayor of Centar Municipality, Srđan Mandić, whose main opponent was DF member Dennis Gratz, as well as all those who won the elections, but that there is no reason to celebrate because of the tragedy that befell BiH.
