Mehmedovic: The Coup is on the Scene, but the Creators of the Dayton Agreement will not allow their Success to collapse

Semsudin Mehmedovic, a member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), said the worst-case scenario would be ifeveryone came to the PSBiH session, as they would boycott everything on the agenda.

A session of the Parliamentary House of the Assembly of BiH is scheduled for February 3rd.

”It is possible that not everyone will come, either the opposition or the position. This will show the world that they are a destructive factor. It also depends on the Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS), which will be held on February 1st. The invitation to Izetbegovic to address the National Assembly of RS (NARS)is one in a series of Serbian hoaxes and I hope that Izetbegovicwill not accept it. If they are inviting him, they should do itinstitutionally, meaning the Presidency of BiH, and not reduce us to tribes. We should not go to the RS Assembly in this way, ”Mehmedovic told.

He added that Vucic‘s only concern for our country is in the domain of dividing it and how to connect part of BiH or natural resources with Serbia.

”He speaks one thing in public, and another to politicians from RS. Dodik is working according to Vucic‘s inputs. What Vucicis doing are offsets in the pre-election campaign he is leading in Serbia. He has personal reasons why he is behaving like that, because the Tribunal is working on the case of Aleksandar Vucic, and that is his problem. Given that the danger of renewed genocide in BiH is the current topic and that the victims of genocide wrote to the United Nations (UN), it is known that there are certain activities. That is what Vucic is afraid of. Dodik is the executor of the work that needs to be done in BiH, no sanctions that have been announced are so effective as to scare them so much or force them to change their attitudes, ” pointed out Mehmedovic.

Orban should not allow being embarrassed in BiH

He believes that sanctions from Germany and United Kingdom (UK) will contribute to a different attitude towards BiH and that they will sanction disruptive factors.

‘There is a coup on our scene. The creators of the Dayton Agreement will not allow their success to collapse, ” he said.

When it comes to Schmidt’s address in the Bundestag, which was announced for today, Mehmedovic said that his address would be very useful, given that he had enough time to observethe real situation in BiH.

”If his moves are absent, it is unnecessary for him to stay in our country. I think that Orban should not have allowed himself to be embarrassed in BiH, because no one would accept him as a statesman. I think that is the real reason for canceling his visit. The implementation of that non-paper is on the scene, it creates the biggest problems for us and it is a project that is supported by radical right-wing politicians from the European Union (EU)and our neighborhood, ” noted Mehmedovic.
