Komsic-Guterres: UN continues to support BiH

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, met in New York with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.

During the friendly conversation, Komšić highlighted the significant work of the Secretary-General and thanked him for his support in the adoption of the Resolution on Srebrenica and Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing its importance for truth and justice.

Secretary-General Guterres called for the earliest possible implementation of the Resolution, emphasizing that the UN continues to support Bosnia and Herzegovina, its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The interlocutors agree that strengthening multilateral cooperation and respect for international law are key to peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the entire world.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Komšić invited the UN Secretary-General to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Presidency of BiH announced.
