A Mossad spy was executed after being convicted of intelligence cooperation with the Israeli regime, Iranian media reported.

According to the judiciary’s media center, the person identified as Esmaeil Fekri was hanged on Monday morning “after a complete legal process, including a trial, appeal, and final confirmation of the verdict by the Iranian Supreme Court.”

Fekri was arrested in December 2023 by Iranian security agencies while he was actively communicating with Mossad operatives.

It is further stated that “the spy maintained contact with two Mossad officers and attempted to gather and transmit sensitive and confidential information on national security, including the locations of strategic sites, details about certain individuals, and internal organizational missions.”
