Komsic: Schmidt gladly accepts HDZ Threats as an Alibi for Inaction

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and President of the Democratic Front (DF) Zeljko Komsic believes that the High Representative of the International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt gladly accepts HDZ threats as an alibi for not acting.

Komsic commented on the allegations of HDZ BiH President Dragan Covic, who said he would not succumb to pressure from foreigners to violate procedures in terms of financing the election process and that it would be catastrophic for Christian Schmidt to impose any decisions in that regard.

“HDZ and Dragan Covic are obviously blocking the adoption of decisions that would enable the financing of the general elections.

“The messages sent by HDZ in terms of imposing the decision to finance the elections by the High Representative in BiH are nothing but open threats to Christian Schmidt, which he gladly accepts due to his inaction and uses them as an alibi for inaction and decision-making,” Komsic said.
