Konakovic met with the Ambassador of India to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Budapest, Partha Satpathy.

Ambassador Partha Satpathy congratulated Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister Konaković on getting the green light to open accession negotiations with the European Union, wishing success in further work and efforts towards the final goal.

Minister Konaković and Ambassador Satparthy expressed satisfaction with the high-quality political relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of India, which are continuously improving in all areas.

Minister Konaković pointed out that BiH appreciates India’s progress in the IT, financial and technological fields, as well as progress in the economic sphere and its role in the global economy. He stated that India is a country from which BiH can learn a lot and that attracting foreign investments is one of the important issues of foreign policy priorities of BiH, and given the strength of the Indian economy, there is an expectation that the volume of Indian investment and Indian economy in BiH could increase.

It was pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina is still interested in the already announced intention of India to open its diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it considers this another positive impulse to strengthen bilateral ties and facilitate diplomatic contacts, which would ensure and facilitate continuous dialogue and harmonization of the two countries on various issues. issues of common interest, it was announced from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
