The plenary session of the International Forum on Security has begun in Moscow, where SNSD President Milorad Dodik will speak on the topic “Challenges and threats to international security in the context of the formation of a multipolar order”.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Željko Budimir also attended the session.
During the day, a meeting with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, is planned.
Participants of the International Forum on Security, which began in Moscow on Tuesday, May 26, attend a series of thematic sessions, scientific conferences, round tables, presentations, bilateral and multilateral meetings, and exhibitions on specific areas of work of relevant Russian agencies and organizations.
The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, greeted the participants of the first International Security Forum and said that such representative global meetings and direct expert dialogue are especially necessary today, because the world is facing serious challenges.
“I know that the program of your meeting is extremely comprehensive and informative. Over the course of several days, 25 thematic sessions, conferences, round tables, briefings and presentations will be held, which will comprehensively consider the key issues of regional and global security,” Putin said in a video address shown at the plenary session of the forum.
Putin stressed that international terrorism, the risk of uncontrolled proliferation of nuclear weapons, extremism, drug trafficking and cybercrime today pose a serious threat to all states.
The International Security Forum in Moscow ends tomorrow.
