BiH is following the path towards the EU, which, among other things, is evident from the work results of the current convocation of the Council of Ministers of BiH, the intensification of cooperation with Europol, as well as with the countries of the Western Balkans, stated today the Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković at a meeting with the executive director for Europe at the European Service for foreign affairs Angelina Eichhorst.

He stated that this can be seen through monitoring and working on regional initiatives, strengthening the economic market, cooperation in the fields of science, education, culture and sports, all with the aim of strengthening and developing a unique European identity.

At the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya, Konaković reiterated that granting BiH candidate status would be a historic step, and added that the biggest goal of BiH’s foreign policy is full membership in the EU.
