Large Police Operation at several Locations underway in Sarajevo

Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Sarajevo Canton MUP, under the supervision of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office, are conducting an operational-tactical operation codenamed “Brut” this morning. The activities are being carried out in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Operational operation “Brut” is being carried out in cooperation with the National Investigation Office of Slovenia, the Royal Swedish Police and Europol, with the aim of finding traces and objects that can be linked to the commission of the criminal offense of the murder of Satko Kekić in Slovenia.

By order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, searches are being carried out at several locations in the municipalities of Novi Grad, Ilidža and Vogošća.

The operational-tactical activities are being carried out based on an international letter of request from the Slovenian Police, the MUP of the Sarajevo Canton announced.
