The best B&H Judoist Laris Cerić won the gold medal at the second European University Judo Championship, which was organized by EUSE (European University Sports Association) held in Coimbra, Portugal.
The current European champion for seniors under 23 will carry the title of European champion for two years, since the next championship will be held in 2015. In the category of more than 78 kg the most successful B&H athlete once again confirmed her place in Europe.
Over 50 universities from 15 countries participated in the championship, and Cerić, as the only competitor from B&H, represented the Faculty of Education at the University of Travnik.
The third European championship will be held in 2015 in Paris.
