Funeral of Affan Ramić avaz.baFamily, friends, and those who loved and appreciated the character and work of Affan Ramić, said the final goodbye to this great artist who found his eternal resting place at Lav cemetery.

Those who knew Affan and had that privilege and honor to share with him the joy and sadness of life had only words of praise for the great painter.

Amusing, charming, funny, good man and great teacher-these are only some of the words that could have been heard yesterday.

”He was a master with a special technique of painting. He was always surrounded by colleagues, friends, and especially the ladies, always gallant and charming. Everyone could be in his company, from local newspaper sellers to students and ministers. He was always ready for a joke”, said the academician Denis Fejzić at the commemoration which was held prior to the funeral.

The prominent BH painter died two days ago at the age of 83. He left an indelible mark to an era with his works, which are a kind of a witness of time themselves.

Through his respective works, he was narrating about his strong connection to the people and climates of our area.
