The visit of the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavorv to Bosnia and Herzegovina has been postponed, it was confirmed for Klix.ba from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, and the reason is his self-isolation after contact with an infected person.

The news about Lavrov’s self-isolation was published by the RIA news agency, and it is stated that all his obligations, planned visits and meetings have been postponed.

He feels well, but all his meetings have been postponed as a precaution. Lavrov was scheduled to meet with members of the presidency, Foreign Minister Biser Turkovic and a number of other officials. As part of his Balkan tour, he was also scheduled to visit Serbia.

Lavrov was in our country for the last time before the local elections in 2018, when he visited Sarajevo and Banja Luka.

Earlier, Sergei Lavrov said that one of the topics for discussion with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s partners should have been the problem of the Dayton Peace Agreement, whose 25th anniversary is being marked on December 14.
