The president of the HDZ BiH and the HNS, Dragan Čović, said on Friday in Ravno that a new FBiH government should be formed in the next 30 days.
“We formed the Council of Ministers about a month late. I believed that we would have the FBiH government probably in the next 30 days as the deadlines are, and that will be it,” said Čović.
He said that the coalition they have with the other parties is stable, supporting this with the fact of 58 hands of support for the election of Lidija Bradara as president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and answering the question – what if the vice president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Refik Lendo does not give his consent for the mandate of the new FBiH government.
“The HDZ BiH has its own policy regarding the FBiH government, which means we will have six ministries. I think that the president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will start those procedures on Monday when this deadline for appeals expires,” Čović said.
Also asked if Lendo has the right to ask for SDA’s entry into power because of the position he holds, which is the vice-president of the Federation of BiH, Čović pointed out that “anyone can ask for anything”, pointing out that he is not referring to Lendo or anyone else because, as says, everyone has the right to ask whatever they want.
He explained that it was similar with the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He also announced that after the establishment of the FBiH government, they will soon complete with the establishment of power in the cantons.
“My task, and the policy I lead, is to form cantonal-level governments after the FBiH government very quickly. Then, we will focus on the implementation of the obligations we have when it comes to the European path, primary electoral legislation, and of course, the 14 conditions of the European Commission, Čović concluded, Fena reports.
