The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the President of Our Party, Edin Forto, has strongly condemned the expulsion of German Minister Ana Lirmann from the Republika Srpska.
On this occasion, he is requesting an urgent session of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
“We strongly condemn the expulsion of the German Minister from the Republika Srpska. This is an unprecedented diplomatic scandal in which RS officials have endangered the life and safety of a member of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and her team. This is an incalculable damage that has been caused primarily to RS, but also to Bosnia and Herzegovina itself,” Forto stressed.
He expects an urgent apology from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Minister herself, but also to the German government.
“On the occasion of her expulsion, I am requesting an urgent session of the Council of Ministers and greater determination of the state in prosecuting the RS leadership suspected of undermining the constitutional order,” Forto stated.
He believes that this case, if kept quiet, serves to expel anyone from Republika Srpska who does not like Milorad Dodik personally. With this act, Dodik has grown from a domestic and regional security threat to, according to Forto, a criminal who endangers the security of the governments of European powers.
“After this, I expect greater solidarity with Germany and on the international level regarding the introduction of sanctions against the leadership of Republika Srpska,” says Forto, according to a statement from Our Party.
