The six-year old lioness was delivered last night in the Sarajevo zoo called Pionirska Dolina. ‘’The six-year old lioness from the zoo in Osijek, Croatia, has finally arrived to the Sarajevo zoo. The king of animals, the lion Rily, finally has his lioness’’, confirmed to Fena agency the administrator of the recreation and entertainment center of Pionirska Dolina Esad Tajić.
He said that the lioness was delivered with a special vehicle. The transport went well, and the lioness is currently in quarantine where she will stay for one month. Tajić emphasized that lioness will be given a name after a survey is conducted.
He particularly thanked municipality Center Sarajevo and Mayor Dževad Bećirević, which gave money for the transportation costs of the lioness.
‘’Sarajevo finally has a small European zoo’’, said Tajić, who called on all people of Sarajevo and citizens from the rest of B&H to visit the zoo and Pionirska Dolina to enjoy the oasis of this beauty.
