borderMostly wet roads and increased traffic of vehicles to the south of the country characterized this morning’s traffic situation in BiH.

From roads with works currently ongoing it is important to mention the highway Banja Luka-Bosanska Gradiska (locality of the loop Mahovljani), then main roads: M-17 Nemila-Topcic Polje, M-4 Banja Luka-Celinac, M-18 Priboj-Simin Han and M-5 Rakovica-Kobiljaca as well as main roads for Gracanica (M-4), Prozor (M-16.2), Kladanj (M-18), Donji Vakuf (M-16) and Livno (M-6.1).

According to information obtained by the Border Police of BiH, number of vehicles at most of border crossings is increased, both at the entrances and exits from the country. Retention times are not longer than 30 minutes. Due to works on the BC Orasje-Zupanja on Croatian territory, the traffic is slowed in both directions. Since the longest retention is recorded at the BC Doljani again this season, drivers are advised to use border crossings Gabela Polje, Zvirici, Bijaca, Crveni Grm and Orahovlje, and those who travel to the area of the Dubrovnik region or Peljesac are advised to use border crossings Cepikuce and Ivanica. Retention at these border crossings are much shorter than on BC Doljani.

Changes in traffic regime:

A1 Vlakovo-Tarcin, due to the necessary repair works on the bridge M-2 and through tunnels Grab, 25 Novembar and Vis, the traffic is taking place on one lane.

Banja Luka-Bosanska Gradiska, due to the construction of the viaduct Mahovljani the traffic is closed on the loop. Drivers are recommended to use the loop Aleksandrovac or highway M-16, depending on the direction of their movement.

Regional roads

On R-435 Nevesinje-Berkovici the works on the reconstruction and modernization of this section are taking place, and the traffic is taking place in one lane.

R-454a Bratunac-Drinjaca, because of active landslides, a ban of traffic for trucks over 3.5 tons of total weight and buses over 5 tons.
