After more than a month the air in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina had constantly high concentrations of harmful substances, according to the Federal Meteorological Institute survey, the air in Sarajevo was clean this morning.
According to the measuring instruments within the United States Embassy in Sarajevo, at seven o’clock this morning, the air measured 42 PM2.5 particles in the air, which is rated as very satisfactory air quality and represents little or almost no risk to human health.
The measuring instruments of the Federal Meteorological Institute measured the highest concentration of PM10 particles in Bjelave and it was 18 micrograms per cubic meter, followed by Otoka with 15 and Ilidza with 14.
Currently, the best situation is in the area of the City Hall with two micrograms per cubic meter PM10 particle in the air.
As for other cities in BiH, the situation is also stable. In Zenica, the most polluted is the Tetovo settlement with 28 micrograms per cubic meter of PM10 particles in the air, and the values of the harmful SO2 are also in a slight decline.
