The father of Liverpool footballer Luis Diaz, Luis Manuel Diaz, was released by his captors after being held captive for 12 days.

The first photos of Diaz Sr. after his release from the infamous kidnappers were also recorded, showing the Colombian visibly exhausted.

Let us remind you that Luis Manuel Diaz was kidnapped in the Colombian Barrancas on October 28 and the local authorities immediately launched an action to release him.

He was abducted by the Northern War Front (ELN), which has been declared a terrorist organization, but today it was announced that they have released the father of the Liverpool football player, who is now safe.

Luis Manuel returned to his family without any consequences.
